Every year, I hear two major stressors for my party tribe when it comes to hosting a holiday party.
1. I am so busy at the holidays, that I always leave my party till the last minute and then I'm scrambling!
2. My house is not cute enough to host a party.
Let's address #2...WHAT. Your house has never been more beautiful than it is at the holidays. It's cozy, special, inviting, and warm. It's perfect...so let that one go please!
As for the first stressor...I get this one, and it's one I often feel at the holidays too. But today I've got my 5 steps that are going to crush this for you so after this episode you will be good to go, sister friend!
My #1 piece of advice? This is NOT the time to be the hero. You do not have to do everything. It's impossible and makes you dread your party, and that's terrible. So make me a promise that you will not try to be the hero and you'll let some things go this year so you can host a party you'll actually enjoy! Good, thanks!
